About Avimator

Avimator is an easy-to-use, open source tool for creating and editing avatar animations for Second Life. It is a free alternative to Poser and Maya, and it runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

Avimator is no longer supported and updated. Download available version below. For a tutorial on how to create a simple avatar animation and upload it to Second Life, see the beginner’s guide in the download section.

QAvimator

Development of Avimator has been put on hold for now. In the meantime, try QAvimator. It contains many enhancements to the original source code and has many useful features.
